  1. 1867: The family of William T. Tinsley (1833-1893), age 34; and Emma Julia Guiteau (Tinsley) (1838-1882), age 29. Children (left to right): Henry Greenwood Tinsley (1861-1920), age 6; Caroline Hannah "Carrie" Tinsley (Hill) (1865-1940), age 2; Marion Emma "Minnie" Tinsley (Leach) (1863-1939), age 4; and Ella Frances "Nellie" Tinsley (Sherwood) (1867-1960), age under 1 year. The portrait, painted in 1861 and owned today by JAM (1945- ), is of Frederick William "Freddie" Tinsley (1859-1861) at age 2.
  2. about 1870: William T. Tinsley (1833-1893), age about 35 or 40. The father of Emma Laura Tinsley (Ray) (1880-1948) and eight older siblings.
  3. about 1900: 12 Phelps Street, Lyons, New York. Residence of William T. Tinsley (1833-1893). William's second wife Hannah Rogers (Tinsley) (1844-1932) lived there until her death. This house was the birthplace of Emma Laura Tinsley (Ray) (1880-1948). The house was visited by William's great-grandson JAM (1945-). in 1988, and was still standing in 1996.
